What Are They?
There are two types of professional cleanings patients receive at a dental office. Prophlyaxis is the most well known and associated with a 6 month recall basis. Even if you brush and floss every day, plaque still builds up in spots your toothbrush can’t reach — and over time it hardens into tartar that only professional tools can remove. Regular cleanings and exams prevent cavities, reduce your risk of gum disease, and give us a chance to catch small problems before they become big ones.
The other type of cleaning is indicated in the presence of gum disease known as scaling and root planing. A “deep cleaning” is known as the first-line treatment for gum disease. When gum disease develops, the gums pull away from the teeth and form pockets where bacteria and tartar accumulate below the gumline — deeper than a routine cleaning can reach. Scaling removes that buildup from within those pockets, and root planing smooths the root surfaces so gum tissue can heal and reattach. Most patients respond well and, with good home care and regular follow-up visits, are able to manage gum disease long-term and keep their teeth in a stable position.
How Do I Know Which Cleaning I Will Get?
We determine the type of cleaning indicated at your first visit based off some measurements of gum and bone health. You will leave your first visit with a plan going forward for your routine care.

What Is It?
Sealants are a thin, protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth. Molars have deep grooves and pits that are hard to keep clean — even with diligent brushing, bacteria and food settle in and cause cavities. Sealants fill in those grooves and create a smooth surface that’s far more resistant to decay. They’re most commonly placed on children’s permanent molars as soon as they come in, but adults with deep grooves and no existing decay can benefit too. Sealants are clear or tooth-colored, completely painless to place, and can last several years.

What Is It?
Fluoride is a mineral that reinforces tooth enamel — the hard outer layer that protects your teeth from decay. Every day, acids from food and bacteria quietly wear that enamel down. Fluoride helps rebuild it. A professional fluoride treatment delivers a higher concentration than what you get from toothpaste or tap water, giving your teeth a meaningful boost in resistance to cavities. It’s one of the simplest, most cost-effective things we can do to keep your teeth healthy long-term. We recommend topical fluoride for patients of all ages. It’s especially valuable for kids whose teeth are still developing, adults with a history of cavities, anyone with dry mouth or gum recession, and patients wearing braces or other dental appliances.

What Is It?
A nightguard is a custom-fitted oral appliance worn over your teeth while you sleep to protect against the effects of grinding and clenching — a condition called bruxism. Most people who grind their teeth don’t even realize they’re doing it, but the signs show up over time: worn-down enamel, chipped teeth, jaw soreness, headaches, and sensitivity. A well-made nightguard creates a protective barrier between your upper and lower teeth, absorbs the force of grinding, and takes the pressure off your jaw joints. It won’t stop the grinding behavior, but it will prevent your teeth from bearing the damage.

What Is It?
A crown is a custom-made cap that fits over a tooth to restore its shape, strength, and appearance. We recommend a crown when a tooth is too broken down or decayed to hold a filling — such as after a large cavity, a crack, a broken cusp, or a root canal. Think of it as rebuilding the tooth from the gumline up. We use tooth-colored ceramic and zirconia materials that look completely natural and are built to last. A well-placed crown protects the tooth underneath and, with normal care, can last 10–15 years or more.
What to Expect
Most crown cases take two appointments. At the first visit, we’ll numb the area, remove any decay, and shape the tooth so the crown fits over it properly. We’ll take a digital scan and place a temporary crown while your permanent one is being made at the lab — usually 2-3 weeks. At the second appointment, we remove the temporary, check the fit and color of the permanent crown, make any minor adjustments, and cement it in place. The whole process is straightforward, and once the permanent crown is on, it should feel completely natural.

Losing teeth affects more than your appearance — it changes how you eat, how you speak, and how you feel about yourself. Dentures are a time-tested solution that restores the look and function of a full smile. Whether you’re missing all of your teeth orjust some of them, we’ll help you find the right fit.
Complete Dentures: Full-arch replacement for patients missing all their teeth
What Is It?
Complete dentures replace an entire arch of missing teeth — upper, lower, or both. They rest on the gum tissue and are custom-fabricated to fit the shape of your mouth and complement your facial features. Modern dentures are far more natural-looking and comfortable than older versions. With the right fit and care, they restore your ability to eat a wide range of foods, speak clearly, and smile without hesitation. If you still have remaining teeth that need to be removed, we can also provide immediate dentures — placed the same day as your extractions so you’re never without teeth during the healing process.
Partial Dentures: Targeted replacement for patients missing some of their teeth
What Is It?
Partial dentures are designed for patients who still have some of their natural teeth. They fill in the gaps left by missing teeth and are anchored to your remaining teeth using small metal or tooth-colored clasps. Beyond restoring your smile, partials serve an important structural function — they prevent the teeth on either side of a gap from shifting out of position over time, which can lead to bite problems and bone loss. Partials come in different materials depending on your needs and preferences. We’ll walk you through the options and help you choose what makes the most sense.

What Is It?
A dental bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It works by anchoring a false tooth to the natural teeth on either side of the gap, which are crowned to support it. The result is a seamless, fixed replacement that restores your ability to chew, keeps neighboring teeth from shifting, and fills out your smile. Bridges are a great option for patients who want to replace a missing tooth without implant surgery, or who aren’t candidates for implants.
What to Expect
Like a crown, a bridge is typically completed in two appointments. At the first visit, we’ll numb the area and prepare the teeth on either side of the gap by reshaping them to receive crowns. A digital scan is taken, and a temporary bridge is placed to protect the area while your permanent bridge is crafted at the lab. At the second visit, we fit and cement the permanent bridge, check your bite, and make any final adjustments. It may take a few days to get used to the feel of it, but most patients adapt quickly.

What Is It?
When a tooth develops a small cavity, the decayed portion needs to be removed and the space filled in to stop the damage from spreading and restore the tooth’s strength. We use tooth-colored composite resin — a material that bonds directly to the tooth and blends in naturally, with no metal and no dark spots. Caught early, a cavity is a quick, simple fix. Left alone, it grows — and what starts as a small filling can turn into a crown or root canal down the road.
What to Expect
We’ll numb the area so you’re comfortable, then remove the decay and prepare the tooth surface. The composite resin is placed in layers, shaped to match your tooth, and hardened with a curing light. We’ll finish by polishing the filling smooth and checking your bite. The whole appointment usually takes 30–60 minutes depending on the size of the cavity. Your tooth may be a little sensitive for a few days afterward — that’s normal and fades on its own.

What Is It?
Root canal therapy is one of the most misunderstood procedures in dentistry — the reputation is far worse than the reality. A root canal is performed when the inner part of a tooth (the pulp) becomes infected or inflamed due to deep decay, a crack, or trauma. Left untreated, the infection can spread to surrounding bone and tissue and the tooth will eventually be lost. The procedure removes the infected pulp, cleans and seals the inside of the tooth, and saves it from extraction. With proper restoration afterward, a tooth that’s had a root canal can last just as long as any other tooth.
What to Expect
Root canal therapy is typically completed in one to two appointments depending on the severity of the infection. We’ll numb the area thoroughly — most patients are genuinely surprised by how comfortable the procedure is. Once you’re numb, we create a small opening in the top of the tooth, carefully remove the infected pulp, and clean and shape the canals inside the root. The tooth is then filled and sealed. A temporary filling is placed at the end of the appointment, and in most cases a crown will be recommended afterward to protect and fully restore the tooth. Some soreness for a few days after is normal and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

What Is It?
Sometimes a tooth can’t be saved — whether it’s severely decayed, fractured, infected, or crowding the others. When that’s the case, removing it is the right move for your overall oral health. We handle a full range of extractions in-office, from routine removals to more involved surgical cases, so most patients never need a referral. We take extractions seriously, and we take your comfort seriously. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, at ease, and well cared for from the moment you arrive through the full recovery.

What Is It?
Many people find themselves missing teeth, which creates more problems than just a noticeable gap when you smile. Implants are widely considered the gold standard for replacing missing teeth because they’re permanent, don’t rely on neighboring teeth for support, and help preserve the bone that would otherwise begin to shrink after a tooth is lost. They are made up of three parts: The screw-like implant itself is a titanium post that is placed into the bone to serve as an artificial tooth root. The abutment is placed on top of the implant to connect it to the replacement tooth and finally a custom crown is attached on top, giving you a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions just like the real thing. They can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even support a full arch.

What Is It?
Dental emergencies don’t wait for convenient timing — a knocked-out tooth, a severe toothache, a broken crown, or an abscess can happen at any time and usually needs prompt attention. We reserve time in our schedule specifically for patients who need to be seen urgently. Getting in quickly matters: a tooth that’s been knocked out has the best chance of being saved within the first hour, and infections left untreated can spread. If you’re in pain or something just doesn’t feel right, don’t wait — call us and we’ll get you in as fast as possible.
Cosmetic Dentistry
-
What Is It?
Veneers are ultra-thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth to change their color, shape, size, or overall appearance. They’re one of the most powerful cosmetic tools in dentistry — able to address discoloration that doesn’t respond to whitening, chips, cracks, uneven edges, gaps, and teeth that are slightly crooked or misshapen. The result is a beautifully natural-looking smile that’s custom-designed for your face. A successful veneer case begins with a thorough consultation as many cases do not require you to alter the existing tooth structure.

What Is It?
Clear aligners are a series of custom-made, removable trays that gradually shift your teeth into alignment over time. They’re invisible, smooth, and far more comfortable than traditional braces — and because they’re removable, there are no restrictions on what you can eat and no extra hassle when brushing and flossing. Clear aligners can correct a wide range of issues including crowding, spacing, and bite problems. They’re a great fit for adults and teens who want a discreet, flexible way to straighten their smile without metal brackets and wires.
What to Expect
We’ll start with a consultation and a digital scan of your teeth — no goopy impressions. The scan is used to create a 3D model of your mouth and map out the precise movements your teeth will make throughout treatment. You’ll even be able to preview your end result before you commit. Once your aligners arrive, you’ll wear each set for about 1–2 weeks, 20–22 hours per day, swapping to the next tray in the series as your teeth move. You’ll check in with us periodically throughout treatment so we can monitor your progress. Most cases are completed in 6–18 months depending on complexity.

What Is It?
Professional whitening uses a higher-concentration bleaching gel than anything you can buy at the store, which means you get noticeably better results in a fraction of the time. We offer take- home whitening trays custom-made to fit your teeth precisely — this matters because a well- fitting tray holds the gel evenly against every surface and minimizes contact with your gums. The result is a dramatically brighter smile without the sensitivity that often comes with ill-fitting store-bought strips. Whitening works best on natural tooth enamel and won’t change the color of crowns, veneers, or composite fillings, so it’s worth discussing your goals with us before starting.
What to Expect
We’ll take a 3D scan of your teeth at your first appointment and have custom trays made for you, which are typically ready within a week. When you pick them up, we’ll go over exactly how to use them — how much gel to apply, how long to wear the trays, and how often. Most patients wear them for 30–60 minutes a day for 1–2 weeks and see significant results.

What Is It?
A smile makeover isn’t a single procedure — it’s a personalized combination of cosmetic and restorative treatments designed to address everything you’d like to change about your smile. That might mean whitening plus veneers, or bonding to close gaps combined with a crown on a damaged tooth, or anything in between. We start with your goals and work backwards to build a plan that makes sense for your teeth, your timeline, and your budget. No two smile makeovers look the same, and that’s the point — yours should be designed around you.

What Is It?
Dentists are uniquely qualified to administer Botox — we spend our careers working with the muscles and anatomy of the face, and our precision with injections is second to none. We offer Botox for both therapeutic and cosmetic purposes. On the therapeutic side, it’s highly effective for treating TMJ pain, jaw tension, teeth grinding (bruxism), and chronic headaches caused by overactive jaw muscles. Cosmetically, it can soften fine lines around the mouth, forehead, and eyes for a naturally refreshed look. Whether you’re coming in for pain relief or a little maintenance, you’re in expert hands.
What to Expect
Botox appointments are quick — most take 15–30 minutes from start to finish. We’ll begin with a brief consultation to talk through your goals and identify the exact muscles to be treated. The injections themselves are done with a very fine needle and most patients describe the sensation as a small pinch. There’s no downtime; you can go about your day immediately after.
Results
Typically begin to appear within 3–5 days and are fully visible at the two-week mark. The effects last 3–4 months on average, at which point many patients come back in for a touch-up to maintain their results.

Cosmetic cases require a thorough consultation to discuss patient goals and expectations. Most cases require multiple of these treatments to get to the desired end result.
Sedation Options
-
What Is It?
We want every patient to feel at ease in our chair — and for some people, that takes a little extra support. We offer two levels of sedation depending on your needs. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is a mild, inhaled sedative that takes the edge off anxiety and helps you relax without putting you to sleep. It wears off within minutes and you can drive yourself home afterward. For patients with more significant dental anxiety or those undergoing longer procedures, we offer conscious sedation — an oral medication taken before your appointment that produces a deeper state of relaxation.
